Privacy Policy
Agentech Ltd ("Agentech", "we", "us"), company number 17396129, 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC225336. Contact us about anything in this policy at info@agentechltd.com.
1. Our two roles
For our own customers and website visitors, we are the data controller. This covers the details you give us when you enquire, book a demo, pay or become a client.
For the callers and customers of the businesses we serve, we are a data processor. The business that uses Agentech is the controller of its own callers' information. We process it only on that business's instructions, to run its assistant, under a written data processing agreement.
2. What we collect
- Contact and business details you give us: name, business name, phone number and email.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp, by email or through our website chat assistant.
- For clients: call recordings, transcripts, booking details and message history handled by your assistant.
- Basic website usage data, such as pages visited.
- Payments are handled by Revolut. We never see or store your full card number.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and give you a demo: our legitimate interests, or steps before a contract.
- To build and run your assistant and bill you: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep tax and accounting records: legal obligation.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data or your callers' data to train anyone else's AI.
4. Call recording
Assistants can record and transcribe calls. The business using the assistant decides whether calls are recorded and is responsible for telling its callers. Our standard assistant can tell callers when a call is recorded.
5. Who we share it with
We use carefully chosen service providers to deliver the service: our voice AI and telephony providers, AI model providers (including for our website chat assistant), calendar and email providers, website hosting, and Revolut for payments. Each only processes data to provide their part of the service.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, so it stays protected to UK standards.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records while you are a client and for 6 years afterwards for tax purposes. Call recordings and transcripts are kept for 90 days unless the client agrees a different period with us. Enquiries that don't become clients are deleted within 12 months.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email info@agentechltd.com. If you called a business that uses Agentech, contact that business first; we will help them respond. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes
We will update this page if how we use data changes, and change the date at the top.
