Will callers know they're speaking to an AI?
Yes — and that's deliberate. Your agent introduces itself honestly and tells callers when calls are recorded, so they know how their information is used. In practice, customers care about being answered immediately and helped properly, not about who answers. Missed calls lose customers; honest AI keeps them.
What happens if the agent can't help?
It does what a great receptionist does: takes a detailed message, promises a call-back, and sends you the summary instantly by WhatsApp or email. For urgent matters it can transfer the call to your mobile.
How fast can we go live?
Message agents: usually 2–3 working days. Voice receptionists: about a week, including testing until you're happy with how it sounds. Custom and sector agents are scoped individually.
Is our customer data safe?
Agentech Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office and operates under UK GDPR. Your data is used to run your agent — never sold, never used to train anyone else's. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what we hold and why.
How much does it cost?
Essential is £149 a month with a £299 one-off setup fee. Professional is £299 a month, setup £699 — most businesses start here. Multi-site starts at £699. The setup fee covers building and testing your agent on your own questions before it goes live. For comparison, a part-time receptionist costs £12,000–£16,000 a year and covers one shift.
Are we tied into a contract?
No. We never ask for a commitment longer than three months, then it continues month to month with 30 days' notice. You can reserve a build for £99, which comes off your setup fee and is refunded in full if the kick-off shows it isn't a fit.
We're not in the UK — can we still use Agentech?
